Revisions: Bulk Paint Update & Selective Item Deletion
Fabritec now allows greater flexibility when creating a new revision inside Phases Explorer. When adding a new revision (Revision 1 and above), you can:Change the paint system for selected items
Delete specific items directly from the table
This eliminates the need to upload a completely new sheet for minor adjustments and gives you precise control over revision changes.π Where This Applies#

The selected items will be removed from the current revision only.β οΈ What Happens After Deletion?#
Deleted items will appear as Removed in View Changes
Approval Validation will verify:If the item has started production
If the item is already completed
If deletion conflicts with live production data
If production has already started, the system may block approval until resolved.
How This Affects Revision Comparison#
Both actions (paint change and deletion):Are tracked in revision history
Appear clearly in View Changes
Are included in approval validation checks
Maintain full traceability between revisions
This ensures transparency and controlled decision-making.
Why This Update Matters#
Previously, small modifications required:Uploading a new Excel sheet
Reprocessing the full item list
Maintain revision precision
This enhancement improves flexibility while maintaining Fabritecβs strict revision control and production validation logic.
β Best Practice#
Use bulk paint changes for specification updates to change the type of paint from within the revision for some items in case there are multiple types of paint in the phase.
Use selective deletion only when items are intentionally removed.
Always review View Changes before approval.
Run Approval Validation before accepting the revision.
