Installing Fabritec as a Desktop or Mobile App

Fabritec can now be installed as an application on your desktop or mobile device, giving users faster access to the system without needing to open the browser and type the system URL every time.
This update helps teams access Fabritec more easily from the office, factory floor, or site, while keeping the same secure web-based experience.

Receive supported push notifications on subscribed devices
Improve daily usability for production, quality, shipping, and management users
Keep Fabritec available as a dedicated workspace for operational follow-up

What Is the Fabritec App Installation?#

Fabritec is still a web-based system, but it can now be installed on supported devices as a desktop application or mobile browser app.
This means Fabritec will appear like an application on your device, while still running securely through the browser engine.
You can install Fabritec on:
Desktop devices
Laptops
Mobile phones
Tablets

4.

This allows users to access Fabritec quickly while working from the shop floor, site, or outside the office.

Why This Is Useful#

Installing Fabritec as an app helps users work more efficiently by reducing the time needed to access the system.
This is especially useful for:
Production users who need quick access to tracking pages
QC inspectors who need to respond to inspection requests
Shipping teams who need to follow dispatch activity
Project managers who monitor project progress
Management users who need quick visibility into operational updates
Instead of keeping Fabritec as one browser tab among many, users can now keep it as a dedicated application on their device.

Notes#

Fabritec remains connected to your tenant and user account.
Your access permissions remain the same.
Push notifications depend on device and browser support.
Users may need to allow notifications from the browser or operating system settings.

Summary#

With the new app installation and notification updates, Fabritec becomes easier to access and more responsive for daily operations.
Users can now install Fabritec on desktop or mobile devices, enable push notifications, and control notification preferences by category.
This helps teams stay connected to critical execution updates across projects, phases, revisions, production, quality control, shipping, and erection.
