The Home page in Fabritec gives users a configurable dashboard for monitoring factory activity, project progress, tasks, production, quality control, rework, shipping, and dispatches from one central view.

The Home page is designed for users who need a quick operational overview without opening multiple modules. It helps managers, production teams, quality teams, shipping teams, and project stakeholders see what needs attention across all projects or within a selected project.

Fabritec now provides up to 50 widgets that can be added to the Home page dashboard based on each user’s role and daily workflow.

With Home Page Widgets, you can:

Monitor recent and active projects

Compare production, shipping, and erection progress

Track your assigned tasks and task status

Review production quantity, weight, labour hours, and workstation hours

Analyze production output trends

Monitor backlog by stage or project

Follow rework queues and rework trends

Track shipping pipeline, upcoming dispatches, and shipping backlog

Monitor quality-control requests and response time

Save dashboard layouts for future use

What Are Home Page Widgets?

Home Page Widgets are small dashboard blocks that display selected operational data.

Each widget focuses on one area of work, such as:

Projects

Tasks

Production

Rework

Shipping

Quality Control

The purpose of the Home page is to give users a factory-level or cross-project view of execution.

Instead of checking production, QC, shipping, and task pages separately, users can add the widgets they need and monitor the most important updates from one place.

Where to Find Home Page Widgets

Navigate to:

Home

The Home page appears from the main side menu under the General section.

The page includes:

Welcome message and current date

Duration filter

Project filter

Dashboard action buttons

Saved dashboard layouts

Configurable widgets

Main Filters

The Home page includes filters that control the data displayed inside widgets.

Duration Filter

The Duration filter controls the time period used by time-based widgets.

Last 30 days

Widgets such as production output, labour hours, workstation hours, QC turnaround, rework trend, and upcoming dispatches will update based on the selected duration.

Use this filter to analyze:

Recent production performance

Output over a selected period

Labour and workstation effort

QC response time

Rework activity

Shipping and dispatch activity

Project Filter

The Project filter allows users to choose between:

All projects

One selected project

Example

All projects

Use All projects when you want a full factory overview.

Use a specific project when you want the Home page to focus only on one project without going to the Project Overview page.

Dashboard Management Buttons

The Home page includes dashboard management buttons that allow users to customize, save, and switch dashboard layouts.

Manage Widgets

Use Manage widgets to enter widget editing mode.

In this mode, users can:

Add widgets

Remove widgets

Prepare the dashboard layout before saving

When editing mode is active, widgets may display remove icons.

Add

Use Add to open the Add widgets side panel.

From this panel, users can:

Search for widgets

Filter widgets by category

Add available widgets to the Home page

See which widgets are already added

Done

Use Done after finishing widget changes.

This exits editing mode and returns the Home page to normal viewing mode.

After clicking Done, click Save if you want to keep the updated layout.

Save

Use Save to save the current Home page widget layout.

This allows you to keep your preferred Home dashboard and reuse it later.

Switch

Use Switch to move between saved Home dashboard layouts.

This is useful when users need different Home dashboards for different purposes, such as:

When you click Add, a side panel opens with the available widget library.

The panel includes:

Use these categories to narrow the widget list based on the type of operational data you want to monitor.

Each widget card includes:

Widget name

Short description

Add button or availability status

A purple plus button means the widget can be added.

A disabled check indicator usually means the widget is already added or not currently available for the selected context.

To add a widget:

Go to Home.

Click Manage widgets.

Click Add.

Search for the widget or select a category.

Click the purple plus button beside the widget.

Repeat the same steps for any additional widgets.

Click Done.

Click Save to keep the updated layout.

The selected widget will now appear on your Home page dashboard.

To remove a widget:

Click Manage widgets.

Locate the widget you want to remove.

Click the remove icon on the widget.

Click Done.

Click Save to keep the updated layout.

Removing a widget only removes it from the Home page layout. It does not delete the related project, production, task, QC, rework, shipping, or dispatch data.

Save Your Home Dashboard

The Save Your Dashboard window allows users to save the current Home page widget layout.

To open this window, click:

Create	Saves the current Home layout as a new dashboard.
Update Existing	Updates an existing saved dashboard with the current layout.

Select Create when you want to save the current Home layout as a new dashboard.

Use this option when:

You are creating a dashboard for the first time

You want multiple saved dashboard layouts

You want different dashboards for different roles or workflows

Update Existing

Select Update Existing when you want to update a dashboard that was saved before.

Use this option when:

You added new widgets to an existing dashboard

You removed widgets from an existing dashboard

You do not want to create a duplicate dashboard

Name

The Name field is used to name the dashboard layout.

Choose a clear name that describes the dashboard purpose.

Use names that are easy to recognize when switching between dashboards later.

Is Default

The Is Default checkbox sets the selected dashboard as the default Home page view.

When a dashboard is marked as default, Fabritec opens this layout automatically when the user visits the Home page.

Use Is Default when:

This is your main daily dashboard

You want the same layout to appear every time you open Home

You want to standardize your personal working view

Save Button

After selecting the action, entering the name, and choosing whether it is default, click Save.

Fabritec will save the Home dashboard layout and make it available for future use.

Switch Home Dashboard Settings

The Switch Dashboard Settings window allows users to move between saved Home dashboard layouts.

To open it, click:

Use the Name dropdown to select one of the saved dashboard layouts.

After selecting a dashboard name, click Switch.

Fabritec will load the selected Home dashboard layout and display its saved widgets.

General widgets help users monitor projects, tasks, recent activity, and upcoming milestones.

Recent Projects

The Recent Projects widget displays the newest or most recently active projects.

Each project card may include:

Project number

Project name

Current status

Production progress

Shipping progress

Erection progress, when applicable

Customer or project owner

Location

Open status

Use this widget to quickly check active projects and their progress.

My Tasks

The My Tasks widget displays tasks assigned to the current user.

It may include:

Task title

Use this widget to track overdue and upcoming tasks without opening the full Task Manager.

The Task Status Summary widget shows task distribution by workflow status.

The Wrong Dashboard Opens by Default

This may happen if another dashboard is marked as default.

To change it:

Open the dashboard you want to use.

Click Save.

Select Create or Update Existing.

Enable Is Default.

Click Save.

I Updated Widgets but Changes Were Not Kept

Make sure you clicked Save after adding or removing widgets.

If you exit the page before saving, the layout may not be stored.
