  1. User Management

Roles

Roles allow you to define user access levels and control permissions across the Fabritec system.
By assigning the right roles, you ensure that each user sees only what they need and performs only the actions relevant to their job.
Roles help maintain:
System security
Clean user access hierarchy
Clear responsibility boundaries
Efficient collaboration across departments

šŸ” What Are Roles?
A Role is a predefined set of permissions assigned to one or more users.
Each role determines what a user can:
View
Manage
Edit
Approve
Delete
Examples of common roles include:
System Admin – Full system access
Workstation Operator – Limited access to production tasks
Shipping Coordinator – Manages shipping workflows
Project Manager – Oversees project and building progress
Quality Control Inspector – Handles QC operations
Planning Engineer – Manages production planning
Production Manager – Oversees full production flow

Where to Find Roles#

Navigate to:

Avoid giving unnecessary permissions to reduce system risks
Use the System Admin role only for trusted users
