Users

The Users page allows you to manage all system users in Fabritec.
You can add new users, assign departments and roles, and control access rights — ensuring smooth and secure operations across your factory.
With the Users page, you can:
Create new user accounts
Assign roles and permissions
Assign departments
Track user logins and status
Lock or unlock user access
Export user data for reporting

📍 Where to Find Users
Navigate to:
User Management → Users
Here you’ll see a table showing:
Username
Email
Job Title
Department
Role
Last Login
Account Status (Locked/Unlocked, Email Verified)
Actions (Edit, Lock/Unlock, More Options)
You can also:
Export users to Excel or PDF
Use search and column filters for quick navigation

➕ Add a New User#

Click Add User to create a new user account.

You will see the following fields:

1️⃣ Username (Required)#

The unique name the user will use to log in.
Examples:
EngKhaled
ProductionManager
QCInspector
Ahmed.S

2️⃣ Full Name (Required)#

Enter the user’s full name as it should appear in the system.

3️⃣ Email (Required)#

Used for authentication and communication.
Make sure it is correct so the user can receive notifications and password resets.

4️⃣ Title (Optional)#

The user's job title.
Examples:
Production Manager
Planning Engineer
QC Supervisor
Welding Technician

5️⃣ Department (Required)#

Select the department the user belongs to.
Assigning the correct department helps structure reporting and permissions.

6️⃣ Role (Required)#

Choose the role that defines the user’s permissions.
Roles control:
What the user can view
What actions they can perform
Which modules they can access

✔️ Save the User#

Click Add to create the user.
The new user will appear in the list and can immediately start using the system.

🛠️ Editing or 🔒 Managing User Access#

In the Actions column:
✏️ Edit – Update the user’s details
🔒 Lock/Unlock – Control whether the user can sign in
⋮ More Options – Manage additional preferences
Locked users cannot access the system until unlocked.

⭐ Best Practices#

Use clear usernames for easy identification
Assign correct roles to avoid unauthorized access
Keep user details up to date
Lock inactive users for better security
Regularly export user data for auditing
