The Phases page inside a project is where you define and manage the production phases that make up the full scope of fabrication.
Each phase represents a deliverable production batch linked to a specific building model in the project. This page is essential for planning production, tracking progress, shipping, and revision management.📍 Where to Find the Phases Page
Projects → Select Project → Phases
📋 What You See on the Phases Page#
The phases table displays a list of all phases created for the selected project. For each phase, you can view:Phase Code (auto-generated based on project + phase number)
Open for Revision (true / false)
Items Type (Steel / Stainless Steel / Aluminum, etc.)
Production Required (true / false)
Shipping Required (true / false)
Status and additional attributes (depending on configuration)
➕ Adding a New Phase#
Click Add Phase to open the phase creation window.
You must fill in the following fields:
🧱 1. Buildings (Required)#
Select one or more buildings from the project.⚠️ Note: All selected buildings must belong to the same building model.
🔢 2. Number (Required)#
This is the phase number that will be appended to the project code.
Example:Phase Code becomes 12345-01
This drives the structure of production routing and documents.
🎨 3. Paint System (Required)#
Choose the paint or finishing system that applies to this phase:This ensures correct routing, QC steps, and reporting.
⚙️ 4. Items Type (Required)#
Defines the material type for this phase’s items:Others (based on configuration)
This selection impacts production routing and cost calculations.
📅 5. Start Date (Required)#
The planned beginning of work on this phase.
🗓️ 6. Scheduled End Date (Required)#
The target completion date used for scheduling dashboards and planning.
📝 7. Name (Optional)#
Additional custom title or description for the phase.
Any internal notes such as:Special handling instructions
✅ After Creating a Phase#
Once added, the phase becomes visible in:Phases Explorer (for revision workflow)
Production & Shipping modules
You may then proceed with:The phase becomes the central unit of execution for the entire project.
⭐ Best Practices#
Always follow the building model grouping rule.
Use meaningful phase numbers (01, 02, 03...).
Ensure start/end dates are realistic for dashboards.
Add a description when phases are similar to avoid confusion.
Complete all setup steps before sending the phase for production.
