The Production Logs page provides a traceable history of production activities recorded in Fabritec.Each log represents a production execution submitted against a specific:When Quality Control is required, the same record also shows the related inspection result, accepted quantity, and rework information.Production Logs allow production managers, supervisors, quality teams, and authorized administrators to confirm:Which item and stage were updated

Unlike the Items and My Production tabs, which focus on current and actionable production work, the Logs tab focuses on historical execution records.
Where to Find Production Logs#
The page displays production records from across the factory, subject to the logged-in user’s permissions.
What Creates a Production Log?#
A Production Log is created when an authorized user records a production operation against an item.For example, a user may submit that:Completed the Bending stage
At the Angle Bending Machine
Using three assigned labour records
With an operation duration of one hour
Fabritec stores this submission as a Production Log.If the stage requires Quality Control, the recorded quantity is connected to an inspection workflow. After the inspection is completed, the Production Log displays the inspection outcome and accepted or rework quantities.
Production Logs and Item Progress#
Production Logs are directly connected to item progress.When a production update is submitted, Fabritec uses the recorded quantity and the item’s configured route to update the item’s stage-level quantities.Depending on the route and Quality Control requirements, the quantity may become:Completed at the current stage
Accepted and available for the next stage
Partially accepted and partially returned for rework
Production Logs should therefore be treated as operational records, not only as informational notes.Changing a log can affect how production history is interpreted. Corrections should be made only by authorized users and only when the recorded information is incorrect.

Log Date and Operation Time#
These fields serve different purposes.Log Date identifies when the record was created or entered in Fabritec.Operation Time identifies when the production activity was performed or recorded as having occurred.The values may be the same when users submit production immediately after completing the work.They may differ when production activity is entered later.For accurate reporting, users should record the correct operational date rather than automatically using the date of data entry.Production Execution Columns#

Important#
The Revert, Refabricate, and Hold buttons available on the Item Details page are item-level workflow actions.They are not the same as editing a Production Log.Use these actions only according to the relevant operational procedure and user permissions.
Editing a Production Log#
Click the Edit icon in the Actions column to correct available production information.Depending on the current product configuration and permissions, editable information may include:Operation date or production date
