Fabritec New Release – 1\3\2026

Workflow control enhancements and production execution improvements
This release introduces new workflow capabilities and targeted execution improvements, focused on strengthening structural control, improving revision flexibility, and enhancing production user experience across engineering and shop floor teams.
These updates improve operational clarity, reduce unnecessary rework, and align system behavior more closely with real factory workflows.

New Features#

1️⃣ Task Manager – Structured Operational Control#

Fabritec now introduces a fully integrated Task Manager, providing centralized task creation, assignment governance, and execution tracking aligned with Fabritec’s department hierarchy and production structure.
Unlike generic task tools, Task Manager is built directly into Fabritec’s operational model — ensuring that tasks are structured, governed, and traceable within real manufacturing workflows.

Tasks – Execution workspace
Members – Assignment governance
Settings – Workflow and tags configuration
Multiple task views:
Kanban view (drag & drop workflow management)
List view (tabular operational control)
Calendar view (under construction)
Configurable task workflow:
Default: To Do → In Progress → Done
Admin can add, rename, or reorder statuses
Department-based assignment governance:
Default mode follows hierarchy rules
Optional override for controlled cross-department assignment
Entity linking:
Tasks can be linked to Projects, Buildings, Phases, and Phase Items
Full traceability:
Comments
Work logs
Audit logs
Attachments
Flexible classification with Tags and grouping/swimlane engine
