Shipping Yard

šŸš› Shipping Yard#

The Shipping Yard page in Fabritec allows you to seamlessly manage incoming items, yard inventory, and dispatch activities.
It ensures full visibility of what enters the yard, what is stored, and what is ready for shipment.

The page is divided into two main tabs:
šŸ“„ Entry to Shipping Yard – Accept items arriving from production
šŸ“¦ Shipping Yard Items – View & manage all items currently stored in the yard

šŸ“ Where to Find Shipping Yard
Navigate to:
Shipping Yard → Entry to Shipping Yard / Shipping Yard Items

šŸ“„ Entry to Shipping Yard#

This tab displays all items that are ready to enter the shipping yard after being completed in production.
You can:
Search for any item using the search bar
View items grouped by Phase
Adjust the quantity you want to accept
Accept items individually or accept all items at once using the Accept All button

šŸ”¹ Item Card Details#

Each item card shows:
Phase Code (ex: 8769-01-93)
Item Mark (ex: ST2002)
Quantity pending acceptance
A quantity selector (+ / -)
Accept button
āœ” When accepted, the item moves into the Shipping Yard Items tab.

šŸ“¦ Shipping Yard Items#

This tab lists every item that has already entered the shipping yard.
You can:
Export data using Excel šŸ“Š or PDF šŸ“„
Filter columns to customize your view
Search by phase, mark, category, or other attributes

šŸ”¹ Table Columns Explained#

Phase#

The project phase to which the item belongs.

Mark#

The unique identifier or code for the item.

Category#

Type of material or structural category (Ex: Hot Rolled, SHS, Built-up, etc.)

Profile#

Material profile details (e.g., SHS1204, CHS2195)

Qty in Yard#

How many units of this item currently exist inside the yard.

Weight in Yard (t)#

Total weight stored in the yard for this item.

Qty in Dispatch#

Quantity that has already been assigned to shipping trucks or dispatch lists.

Weight in Dispatch (t)#

Total dispatch-ready weight.

Unit Length#

Length of one unit of the item.

Use the toolbar above the table to:
Export to Excel – Great for logistics planning
Export to PDF – Perfect for shipping documents
Clear Filters – Reset all applied filters
Columns – Show/hide table columns to personalize your workspace

🧭 Workflow Example#

1ļøāƒ£ Items complete production
2ļøāƒ£ They appear in Entry to Shipping Yard
3ļøāƒ£ Operator enters correct quantity and clicks Accept
4ļøāƒ£ Items move to Shipping Yard Items
5ļøāƒ£ Dispatch team uses this tab to monitor stock and prepare shipments

⭐ Best Practices#

Accept items daily to keep the yard inventory accurate
Use filters to quickly locate items during dispatch
Always export yard data before issuing a major shipment
Monitor Qty in Dispatch to avoid duplication or shortages
Train staff to use Accept All only when reviewing quantities carefully
