Production Page

🏭 Production#

The Production page in Fabritec allows you to monitor, update, and control all manufacturing activities across your factory.
It provides complete visibility over items in production, user access permissions, and workflow progress β€” ensuring accuracy, speed, and smooth operations.

Each section provides tools for managing and tracking production workflows.

The Items tab lists all components currently in the production cycle.
From here, you can track item details, update stages, export reports, or perform batch operations.

πŸ”§ Tools Available#

At the top of the Items page, you will find:
Bulk Update – Update multiple items at once
Excel Export – Export the item list in Excel format
PDF Export – Export data as a PDF report
Refresh – Reload the latest data
Clear Filter – Reset all applied filters
Search Bar – Quickly locate items
Columns Menu – Show or hide table columns
You can also switch between:
All Items
Final Items
Sub Items

The table displays all active production items with detailed specifications.

The Bulk Update feature allows you to update multiple items simultaneously β€” ideal for batch manufacturing.

What You Can Update#

Assigned labour
Machine usage
Time spent
Production date
Completed stage
Notes or additional details
This ensures consistency and saves significant time in high-volume operations.

The Access tab controls which users are authorized to update production stages.
Fabritec ensures that only trained and approved personnel can modify production progress.

Each row displays:
Username
Full Name
Assigned Production Stages
Edit Access (✏️)
Users may be assigned to one or more production stages based on their roles.

🧱 Available Production Stages#

Common production stages include:
Cutting
Bending
Rolling
Welding
Auto Welding
Fitting
Painting
Galvanizing
Cold Forming
Visual Inspection
Only users assigned to a stage can update items within that stage.

✏️ Editing User Access#

Click Edit to:
Add or remove stage permissions
Restrict or expand user roles
Control who is allowed to submit progress updates
This ensures data accuracy, safety, and proper workflow management.

⭐ Best Practices#

Update item stages immediately when work is completed
Use Bulk Update for large item batches
Restrict access to maintain production data integrity
Export data daily or weekly for reviews
Refresh frequently to sync real-time updates
Always check engineering drawings before fabrication begins
