Shifts

⏱️ Work Shifts#

Work Shifts define the working hours your factory operates in.
They help Fabritec calculate production capacity, assign workers appropriately, and track performance across different time periods.
Correctly configuring shifts ensures:
Accurate production time calculations
Proper assignment of labour and machines
Better forecasting and workload distribution
Clear visibility of operational time windows

🔍 What Are Work Shifts?
A Work Shift represents a block of working time for your labour or machines.
Common examples include:

Night Shift (20:00 → 08:00)
Between Shift (12:00 → 00:00)
Each shift can include optional break times and overtime.
Shifts directly affect:
Production planning
Capacity / hr calculations
Labour availability
Reporting
