📌 Project Details Page#

The Project Details page gives you a complete overview of your project status, progress, customer information, and access to the Customer Dashboard, which is a key communication and tracking tool for your clients.

🖥️ Project Summary#

At the top of the page, you’ll find essential project information:
Project Number & Name
Customer Name
Project Status (Open, On Hold, Closed)
Project Progress Bars
Production Progress
Shipping Progress
Project Profile (Scope of Work, Location, Surface Area, etc.)
This section provides a quick, visual understanding of how the project is progressing across all phases.

📊 Progress Tracking#

Production Progress#

Shows the percentage of items completed in manufacturing.

Shipping Progress#

Indicates how many items have been shipped or are ready to ship.
These metrics offer instant insight into bottlenecks and overall schedule alignment.

🧾 Contact Information#

Displays the main customer contact details:
Customer Name
Sales Representative
Phone Number
Email
This ensures all team members can quickly access communication details when needed.

🌐 Customer Dashboard (VERY IMPORTANT)#

The Customer Dashboard is one of the most powerful tools in Fabritec.
It allows your customer to track the project in real time without needing access to the internal system.

Full Transparency: Customers can track progress anytime—production status, shipping updates, and more.
Reduces Calls & Emails: Eliminates repeated manual updates.
Improves Customer Satisfaction: Provides a professional, modern customer experience.
Secure Access: Each project has a unique dashboard link and one-time access password.

🔐 Dashboard Access Credentials#

Dashboard URL#

A unique link generated for the customer to access their live dashboard.

Access Password#

A system-generated password required to log in securely.
The customer cannot open the dashboard without this password.
Both fields include a Copy button for easy sharing.

✏️ Editing Project Details#

Click Edit Project to modify:
Project Name
Customer Name
Sales Name
Customer Contact Info
Scope of Work
Address
Surface Area
Additional Description
Changes update instantly across all connected pages and dashboards.

⭐ Best Practices#

1️⃣ Share the Customer Dashboard Immediately#

As soon as the project is created, send the Dashboard URL and Access Password to your customer.

2️⃣ Keep Project Details Updated#

Accurate project info ensures the customer dashboard always reflects true progress.

3️⃣ Use Descriptions Wisely#

Add helpful notes in the description field for internal teams or customer visibility.

4️⃣ Ensure Progress Is Synced#

Production and shipping activities must be updated regularly so that the customer dashboard matches real project status.

5️⃣ Secure Sharing#

Only share dashboard access details with authorized customer representatives.
