New capabilities and key workflow improvements
This release introduces new platform capabilities alongside important workflow improvements, focused on improving visibility, safety, and user enablement across engineering, production, and management teams.

New Features#

1️⃣ Help Center Launch (In-App Documentation, Tutorials & Support)#

Fabritec now includes a fully integrated Help Center, providing users with direct access to documentation, tutorials, FAQs, and support without leaving the system.

What’s New#

A new in-app Help Center accessible directly from Fabritec, with the option to open in a new browser tab.
Embedded Fabritec Docs offering structured, searchable documentation across:
System concepts and introductions
Production setup and user management
Dashboards and reports
Core execution workflows
Clear separation between:
Learning Center for detailed “how it works” guides
Support Center for FAQs organized by functional area
Built-in search functionality to quickly locate relevant articles.
A new Tutorial Videos library covering key workflows such as:
Project creation and folder structure
Production setup
Routing and Quality Control
System settings

A secure Submit a Ticket flow:

Improvements#

2️⃣ Safer Revision Approvals with Validation & Change Review#

Fabritec enhances the revision approval workflow by introducing mandatory validation and full change visibility before revisions are approved and released to production.
Important: These controls are available starting from Revision 1 and above.

What’s New#

A new Approval Validation step added to the revision review screen:
Performs a full validation against the current production state
Detects blocking issues such as:
Items deleted after production has started
Items modified while already in production or completed
Conflicts between revision data and actual production progress
Blocks approval when unsafe conditions exist
Displays a clear list of issues that must be resolved before proceeding
A new View Changes option:
Provides a detailed comparison between the current revision and the previous revision
Clearly highlights added, updated, and deleted items
Shows before-and-after values for all modified fields
A controlled approval decision flow:
Accept → Finalizes the revision, locks it, and releases data to Routing, Production, QC, and Shipping
Reject → Sends the revision back for correction without releasing any data

A new real-time dashboard workspace that updates dynamically based on production logs.
Global time controls:
Preset durations (24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, yearly, multi-year)
Custom From / To date selection
KPI cards displaying:
Total Quantity
Total Hours
Total Weight
Hours / Weight efficiency
Percentage change compared to the previous period
Interactive charts with:
Timeline and comparative views
Configurable primary and secondary dimensions
Primary dimensions include:
Timeline, Job Number, Category, Phase, Customer
Production Stage, Workstation, Labour
Secondary dimensions enable multi-level analysis (e.g., Stage per Customer).
Dataset Types control:
Select up to two datasets at the same time
Supported datasets include Weight, Length, Area, Hours, Qty, Volume
Widget management:
Add or remove KPI cards
Customize layouts by role
Saved dashboards:
Create, update, and switch between named dashboard views
Set a default dashboard on login
